More than friends with Check&Love

Take care of yourself and your relationships.

Check&Love is not a dating app for strangers, but a social network that facilitates relationships with people you already know or meet in real life, offering the reasonable certainty of knowing them.

Who are the people you already know?

They are all your contacts saved in your phone's address book, to whom you can give a Check discreetly and anonymously.

How do we ensure the confidentiality of your Check?

The contact to whom you gave a Check receives an anonymous notification with the following text, without revealing any personal data traceable to you: "A Check&Love user who knows you has put a Check on you."
You can give as many Checks as you want, and no one will ever know, just as none of your contacts in your phone's address book can discover that you are registered on Check&Love.

When is your identity revealed, and to whom?

Your identity is revealed only if a contact to whom you gave a Check reciprocates by giving a Check to you. Only when the Check is mutual, you go into Love and reveal your identity to each other, but exclusively to that contact, without involving others you gave a Check to.

Who are the people you meet in real life with the reasonable certainty of knowing them?

They are all the nearby users, that is, those who are in the same place as you at the same time.

How do we ensure with absolute certainty that you have met a nearby user?

We use Bluetooth technology, which creates a real network between your phone and those of other users in the same place at the same time.

What happens when your Bluetooth interacts with that of another nearby user?

You can view the profile card of nearby users, and they can view yours. The profile card contains only the information you chose to share (name, gender, photo, and "About me"), without revealing any other personal data.
You can give a Check to all nearby users and go into Love with the same methods provided for contacts in your phone's address book.
In addition to interacting with contacts in your phone's address book and nearby users, on Check&Love, you can participate in and create events.

What are events?

Events are opportunities to meet, which you can create as a private event, for example, for your birthday party, or as a public event in a place open to everyone.
In private events, participation is exclusive to the users you invite. Only they can view the event.
In public events, however, all Check&Love users can see them in the event list or on the map and participate.
All users can register for the events you create, just as you can register for private events you are invited to and public ones created by other users.
After creating an event, to allow registered users to participate, you must start the Check&Love network, Bluetooth as for nearby users, and put the event online. You can also do this using the Check&Love network app from a macOS computer and an Android tablet, without necessarily using your phone.
You can give a Check to all registered users you meet, that is, those who were present at the same event at the same time, even on different days, and go into Love with the same methods provided for nearby users.
