Ethical Code

Dear user, I would like to take the opportunity to share with you the philosophy behind Check&Love, so that you can get to know it and, hopefully, evaluate it positively.

To affirm Check&Love's reputation, I have adopted an Ethical Code based on fundamental rules designed to safeguard its principles and values.

Check&Love is not a dating app for strangers, but a revolutionary social network that facilitates relationships between people who truly know each other or who meet in real life, with the reasonable certainty of knowing them.
Real people, not fake profiles: this is the essence of Check&Love's philosophy, its distinctive element, and the real innovation in the digital communication landscape.

Despite this approach, Check&Love is only a tool for participation and sharing, and how you use it depends solely on you and your way of living and managing your personal relationships.
That's why it's essential for you to be fully aware of your ethical responsibility while playing Check&Love, respecting behavioral rules that you are called not only to follow but also to enforce.
And among these behavioral rules, the most important one is related to privacy, which on one hand hides your preferences—meaning the Checks you place will always remain hidden—and on the other hand makes you clearly identifiable and recognizable by friends and acquaintances. So, both by your personal contacts who already know who you are and by those registered for events in the places you frequent, as well as by the people you interact with every day and night, who must instead know who you are.

To achieve its objective, Check&Love has been designed in a playful way, because love is your happy moment that, like laughter, takes you back to childhood when everything was simple and spontaneous, and it develops into two distinct and complementary user experiences.
The first experience allows you to acquire friends and contacts from your address book, keep them updated, and then select them with a Check, remaining anonymous and not revealing your identity, because they already know you.
The other user experience allows you to play Check&Love with people you know in everyday places and with those you meet in nightclubs, beach resorts, offices, gyms, and universities, or at a private party, a concert, a class—in short, throughout your daily life and social interactions.

In these public spaces, you can join Check&Love events that already exist, create your own events—open to everyone or only for your invited guests—or meet and get to know other users in your nearby area.
This will be your chance to organize additional groups of people, to be placed alongside your contacts and friends, thus expanding your opportunities to put new Checks. But to do so, you must set up a public profile and make your identity visible, because everyone must be able to recognize you and know who you are; and you must be present, because you need to truly meet and get to know the people you like.

And this is exactly where innovation and reputation meet: Check&Love guarantees with absolute certainty that you will truly meet and get to know the people you like. And how do we reconcile innovation and reputation? With Bluetooth technology, which allows us to create a real network among the phones of users who are in the same place at the same time. A physical connection with real people, not a fake sharing of fake profiles.

Whether you interact with your friends and contacts or with the people you meet, you can put as many Checks as you want, while respecting your personal Ethical Code.
Only one, to the person who is your undeclared love, or as many as all those you are interested in, and then wait for the Love, which will arrive only if, and only when, that person or those people put a Check on you, revealing both your identity and theirs.

During your user experience, you will always be kept informed, with detailed information that you are invited to read in order to have the possibility to use Check&Love in an informed way.
In these detailed insights, you can discover all the rules of the new social network and verify the privacy of your personal data and identity, which no one will discover until you go in Love with someone, or until you decide to meet the people you encounter in proximity or at events.

You will thus be able to grasp the philosophy of Check&Love, which you are required to respect, but at the same time, you must remain vigilant, monitoring how other users interact with the platform.
And in keeping with this role, you are first required to set up a public profile with truthful information or, at the very least, details suitable for being accepted and identified in the places you frequent. These places are designed in a way that I like to define and represent as contexts and opportunities for gathering and meeting in open social spaces.
Secondly, you are invited to use the reporting features provided by Check&Love to report false user information and disrespectful or otherwise inappropriate behavior.

And it is precisely because of this ethical, free, and conscious approach that I feel at ease inviting you to join Check&Love, because nobody will know except the people you choose, and because, in any case, Check&Love is only a game.
